ps4 wont use update on usb I replaced the motherboard/optical drive on my ps4 and now its asking for system update using a usb for version 3.00 or later. I formatted my usb for FAT32 and downloaded the update from the plastation.com website and put it in the file format PS4->UPDATE->PS4UPDATE.PUP Power down your PS4 device from the front of the console and turn it off normally.; Once the console is properly shut down, unplug the power cable from the outlet. Now press and hold the power button on the PS4 for 30 seconds to make sure all the power is drained.; Power Cycling PS4. Now wait for 4-5 minutes and let it sit idle. Later plug everything back and try running the PS4. Plug the external storage device containing the system update file into the PS4™. If you get the error: "SU-41350-3 - Cannot fide the update file" it means that the PUP file was renamed by your computer due to multiple downloads of the same file. Solution: Check the download location on your PC or Mac, delete any previous versions. Make sure I then plugged the USB into my PS4 and it insstalled the update file. Then, when my PS4 restarted, it took me back to the same screen that told me my PS4 cannot be started, which then takes me to the screen that says to connect a USB drive with the reinstallation file. My connection seems fine, Ive tested it, Im still Online and on PSN but its saying I cant download it on PS4. Is it just being overloaded right now? Online worked fine yesterday as I got it early, but now it wont let me update anything. it says update is required. × You cannot paste images directly. Upload or insert images from URL.
